With an attachment to its unique land, Champagne Pannier has been expanding its roots for over a century now.

Aim for perfection

In 1899, Louis-Eugène Pannier began the story of Champagne Pannier at Dizy, just outside Epernay. With time and excellent workmanship, the brand earned its reputation and began a new chapter of its history full of promise, moving to Château-Thierry in the Marne Valley vineyards.

On these lands, which have inspired many painters, writers and poets, remarkable and ancient stone quarries dating from the 12th century serve as the cellars of Champagne Pannier. A skilful stonecutter carved an archer into the wall of one of these deep galleries. The House quite naturally chose this symbol of balance, mastery and dexterity as the emblem of its know-how and adopted the archer’s motto: “Aim for Perfection”.

Real wealth lies in the ability to draw strength from difference.

Pannier's originality

Located in the Marne Valley, Champagne Pannier benefits from high-quality supplies coming from the best Champagne vineyards, from Côte des Blancs to Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne. These terroirs produce Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and, of course, Pinot Meunier, a grape variety for which the House has developed an exceptional mastery, providing its wines with an incomparably generous and fruity character.

The secret of blending

As the secret behind the creation of a great champagne lies in the blend of these varieties, the House has been entrusting this delicate and decisive task to its talented Cellar Master, Philippe Dupuis, for over 25 years now. He has developed an elegant range of champagnes with a style that is clearly asserted by the predominant presence of black grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) balanced with a strong portion of Chardonnay.

Champagne Elaboration

Being exceptional has nothing to do with quantity: quality comes first.

The choice of excellence

With its ongoing desire for precision and uniqueness, the House has made the choice of limiting its production to aim solely for excellence. This dare has been successful, making Pannier a somewhat different Champagne House that has found a place for itself amongst the most respected.

With its worldwide presence, the Brand has a strong domestic and international reputation and has asserted its desire for the exceptional by proposing its products exclusively in a traditional distribution circuit (wine shops, restaurants, gourmet shops and direct sales).

Regularly acclaimed by international juries, Pannier champagnes are positioned as rare products that are highly sought after and have established themselves as a hallmark of quality on the international hotel and gourmet markets.
